Yellow Tea

Yellow tea (黄茶) is a type of tea that is made from Camellia sinensis leaves, same to the green tea, the process for making yellow tea is similar to that of green tea but with an added step of enclosing for light fermenting (闷黄). This allows the tea to oxidize at a slow rate for a brief period before the tea is heated fully to be dried, producing a far more mellow taste than is found in most green teas; this also gives the leaves a slightly yellow color comparing with green tea. It is a bit less produced tea comparing with other teas. We do not have Yellow Tea in our offering currently.
